Long bio

Bhupendra Chaubey has spent more than two decades in Indian journalism making complex conversations make sense — on air, on stage and in print. He joined NDTV as a reporter in 1999 and was part of the founding team of CNN-IBN in 2005, rising to Executive Editor and hosting the primetime show India at 9. Across his career he has covered three general elections and assembly elections in most Indian states. In 2020 he took charge of the India Ahead group as CEO and Group Editor-in-Chief, spanning an English news channel and the Andhra Prabha daily. Today he is Editor-in-Chief of The Squirrels, a digital platform for context and long-form analysis, and of Galaxia Quest, an experiential magazine launched in 2026. Through E-Sutra, India's Web3 industry alliance, he convenes structured dialogues between founders, financial institutions and policymakers on tokenisation and digital asset infrastructure.
